FAQs
Can teens who are already working on a venture together register for the boot camp?
Yes! Teams are welcome to join the boot camp if they are already working on a venture together. However, each team member must pay their own registration fee. Please note that a team will occupy one of the limited spots available in the program, ensuring intensive mentorship and support. We cap the program at 20 spots to maximize the learning experience for each participant.
What is the cost of the bootcamp and what does it include?
The registration fee for the boot camp is $4,000 per participant. This fee covers all activities over the two weeks, including daily workshops, guest speaker sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and access to all boot camp materials. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete in the pitch competition, with a chance to win substantial seed funding for their venture.
What if a participant cannot attend all sessions?
We encourage full attendance to gain the maximum benefit from the boot camp as the curriculum is intensive and each day builds on the previous sessions. However, we understand that conflicts can occur. Participants unable to attend a session should notify the organizers in advance, and we will make every effort to provide resources and recordings so they can catch up.
what are the qualifications of mentors and speakers?
Our mentors and guest speakers are carefully selected for their expertise and success in their respective fields. They include Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, experienced business leaders from various industries, and academically distinguished individuals from top universities. Our lead mentor, Sydney, is a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Impact entrepreneur with significant experience in launching and scaling businesses.
How are the winners of the pitch competition decided?
The winners are selected by a panel of judges comprising venture capitalists and seasoned entrepreneurs, including guest speakers from the boot camp. Judging is based on the creativity, viability, scalability, and presentation of the business idea. The pitch competition provides a realistic environment for participants to test their ideas and receive constructive feedback.
what safety measures are in place for the virtual sessions?
All virtual sessions are conducted over secure platforms with strict protocols to ensure privacy and safety. Participants will receive guidelines on how to secure their connections and protect their personal information while engaging in the boot camp activities.
will there be any follow up after the bootcamp ends?
Yes! All participants will have access to a network of alumni and ongoing mentorship opportunities. Winners of the pitch competition will receive continued support to help develop their ventures further. Additionally, we encourage all participants to leverage the relationships and networks they build during the boot camp to enhance their entrepreneurial journey.
