Prayer for Focus Amidst Distractions
Season 1 | Episode 37Whether it's a paper or project, the ability to focus can be impossible. Sometimes our own health can get in the way of what needs to be done. We have a million of responsibilities on our plate to get us through school.
Our minds wander to anything, but the task at hand, and we eagerly imagine the end. However, we can't just skip to the end. Blessings are at the opposite end of our focus, and we must pray against distractions that would rob us of our blessings, our reward.
We ask that our distractions and responsibilities are removed, the things that will block them from fully investing in being a student. We pray for the removal of these distractions, and ask dear heavenly Father that you would use us to be a blessing to fulfill the call that you have on our life.
“We don’t have to wait until we’ve mastered focus. We don’t have to wait until life is beautiful before you can start to use us to glorify the kingdom, but you can actually start to use us even now. Even in our brokenness, even with our distractions, even with whatever we have going on, that you can still use this, that you, we can still be a testimony that we can still sign your light so that others may see you.”
